Affiliate disclosure

Last updated 17 June 2026.

HostArbiter is a reader-supported, independent comparison site. Some of the links to hosting providers on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, we may earn a commission from that provider. This is disclosed in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), which require us to be transparent about any "material connection" between us and the products we recommend.

It costs you nothing extra

Affiliate commissions never change the price you pay — it is identical whether you use our link or go to the provider directly. We receive the commission; you do not pay more.

Commissions do not buy rankings

Our recommendations, scores and rankings are decided on each host's published specifications, plans and prices, not on how much a provider pays. We do not accept payment for a better ranking, and we tell you plainly when a host is a poor fit. Where a host pays no commission, or we have not joined its program, we will still include it if it is relevant.

Which programs

We participate (or intend to participate) in affiliate programs operated by the hosting providers we cover — including Kinsta, WP Engine, Cloudways, SiteGround, Hostinger and Bluehost — directly or through affiliate networks such as Awin, Impact and CJ. Outbound affiliate links carry a rel="sponsored" attribute, and a short disclosure appears next to the calls-to-action themselves, not only on this page.
